Description
Southern Highbush. Early season. In the West, Misty is quite vigorous, growing very well on the coast and in the inland heat. This especially flavorful fruit does well in areas with chilling as low as 150 hours and all areas with mild winters and hot summers. The Misty blueberry bush is particularly valued for its early season fruit production, often producing ripe berries earlier than many other varieties. This makes them a popular choice for growers in warmer climates. The plant itself is relatively compact, making it suitable for small gardens or containers, but still yields a significant harvest. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and dietary fiber, making them a healthy addition to diets. They’re commonly used in a variety of culinary applications such as smoothies, baked goods, salads, and jams.
